I just wieghed the transmitter on a postage scale without a battery or antenna and it wieghs 0.5 oz.
i didn,t know if you would wire it to the battery in the plan or I could add watch type batteries. as for as the antenna it takes 12.5 inchs of wire are cable I can use very light material. It is very tough and can with stand hard crash. One good thing is I build the whole transmitter and can customize it the way you want it. with or without battery.
