If everything worked the way it should, it would be a sport, or a pastime. Having things break and fixing them, modifying them, and enjoying the frustration knowing that statisfaction will be the end result, makes it a hobby.
If you really enjoy RC, your problems will be insignificant, although part of the process in satisfying what one truly craves from any hobby.
