So, I ended up with the Ultra Sport .60. It is on the build board now. Going to do the common suggested changes of, Tail dragger w/ retracts moved out one wing bay, and flaps. Decided against the electric retracts simply because I have a retract servo laying around and that really cuts the cost. (what can I say, I'm cheap [X(])
After you fall in love with the US you may want to take a little trip over to the Blue Jay Web page and look at what they have to offer. The Bridi designs are great but the builds are a bit harder in the sense that they don't come with the photos in the instructions or take you by the hand and completely walk you through each step of the build. Very old school but the planes are well worth all the thinking required. This year I had finished the Dirty Birdy and they now show you on the plans the locations for retracts, fixed gear or trike. I found the Birdy one of the better flying 60 size pattern planes and it looks really cool.
