Default RE: Pretty est Airliner never modeled caravelle

Guys stop with the French bashing. Although i have heard a true french flag has the red and blue only velcro'd on for quick removal to reveal a white flag
Ha Ha ha... Very funny...[:'(]

But put a french man in a hotel and see if he doin't goes to close combat !

The Caravelle is a really wonderful plane. My father and I built one nearly 20 years ago at scale near 1/12. This make 3 meters span and 2.50 meters long. She has no engine and fly as a glider since all those years flawless with only 6.5kg fly weight ! This is really a magic plane in flight. She is a really good glider.

We also built an other one Caravelle with only 1.30 meters span and twin GWS EDF engines, retracting gears, and flaps ! Still flying wonderful and really good looking.

A guy here in France had built a big scale Caravelle around 8 years ago. 5 meters span with twin P120 engines by memory. This was a marvel in flight.

Here in France the Caravelle is a big part of our aviation history like the P51 Mustang or Boeing 707 or 747 in USA.
