I'll only buy the CC Pro one if I get real desperate.

None of those Hobby Lobby ones can handle 6s.

I have spent the last couple of hours searching for BEC's and step down voltage regulators without any luck.

I would rather not spend the price of the servo on a BEC, I'll either connect it direct to the lipo (already made an adaptor to use 2 cells, not the best way, but it will work, just waiting on confirmation from Savox if it will run on 8.4v), or I will sell it and just stick to 6v servos.
It would be nice to keep this servo but it's just not worth going through all the hassle of trying to find a decent BEC that doesn't cost the same or more than the servo itself.
Are you using an External BEC because you want to use the Motor Battery to power the Rx, as well? You could use a separate battery to power the Rx. Also, there are inexpensive ($10) voltage regulators you can purchase, for individual servos.
