The DX8 is newer, so it offers telemetry. Also, it has triple rates instead of dual rates when not using flight modes. except for these advantages, the 9503 is a better radio, offers more channels, memory. Both offer model match and servo sync, and BNF. Servo sync is particularly wonderful, if you have two servos on one surface, such as the elevator, both servos will receive signal at exactly the same time. this is really imporotant on elevators for a 3D plane or cyclic servos on a heli.
