RE: FUTABA TELEMETRY

We know that the new Futaba 18MZ (expected release Sept/Oct) will have telemetry.
I have not read anywhere that Futaba said that you can retrofit telemetry to existing Futaba radios.
But I would be little surprisedif not all Futaba software upgradeable radios could be enhanced with telemetry by a combination of software upgrade and FASSTest SBus-2 receiver together with telemetry sensors.
Personally I have used radios since 1973 when I started to fly radio controlled airplanes and altough telemetry is a nice feature I for sure can live without it. I have today a Futaba 14MZ and if Futaba will have some telemetry for it that will be great, if not I can live with that until next time I buy a new radio in maybe 5 yearsor so (when I expect almost all radios will have telemetry).
