Default RE: FUTABA TELEMETRY

Personally I expect the current top end Futaba transmitters (14MZ, 12Z and possibly 12FG)) to be backwards compatible and have telemetry available. Undoubtedly the TM-14 FASST module will have to be upgraded or replaced in order to have two way communication (along with appropriate new receivers).

I agree with ability to live without it for my flying style and airplane types. I currently use an add on telemetry unit for my electrics to monitor expensive LiPo's. Otherwise I find it unnecessary as my maintenance practices and Futaba's reliability have kept me out of the ground for many, many years.
