It doesn't really sound like you are up for the challenge. A lot of us model builders get just as much enjoyment from building as flying. So yes, do it just to say "you did it." If you aren't interested in rebuilding then don't do it. If you are more interested in saving time and money then go for it, build a new one instead.
On a side note, that is sad that was a great looking 4*.
