Binding the DX5e is easy. First, you put the receiver you wish to bind to it in bind mode, then you hold the trainer switch and turn the transmitter on. Then, after a few seconds(It could take up to a minute but mine bound in just three seconds) release the trainer switch. If all is well they should bind up happily.
