Futaba is certainly not pricing themselves out of the market. In general they have tended to be close to Spektrum in receiver pricing. With the release of the T6J S-FHSS radio, that all changed. Now Futaba offers a true 6 channel full range dual diversity receiver for 15 bucks less than the AR600, and a 6 channel parklyer for 15 bucks than the latest Spektrum parkflyer receiver. At first it looked as though there was no upgrade path for folks buying this radio, wrong, the Futaba FHSS protocol is coming to other transmitters in the Futaba lineup, at least those that software upgradeable at first.
