Go find your local hobby shop and inquire about local flying clubs. There should be someone there who can assist with help you learn to fly and gain your confidence. Remember Confidence comes with experience. Experience with a seasoned instructor will make all the difference. To me one of the greater rewards with this hobby is the fellowship with others who share a common interest.
