Hi,I converted my 9c and my 8u to the Hitec 2.4 conversion,to my 24 planes and have never regretted it.
All of the hitec receivers come with receiver battery telemetry
,And yes you can have separate elevator servos,just turn on alavator and plug into channel 2 and 8,or if you have the 7 channel receiver you have to use a p/mix.[X(]It is has a hopping signal,not just 2 like the JR.Now the best part the price,
3/7 channels receivers$150,3/6 channel receivers,$125,brand new on e/bay,all full range,and you can't beat the range,Unbelievable,on low power.About 10 of the members of our club also converted there futaba radios,with the same results,they all love them.
Only one word of caution,when range testing,only hold the button for 3 seconds,till it beeps,if you hold it for 8 seconds it goes from normal mode to scan mode,
than you must rebind all of your planes again. thanks Ed
