RE: Radio brand compatibility question
Short answer is no. Long answer is no way. There are some cross label compatibilities, but they may require matching RF modules amd their receivers to work with yourtransmitter. FRsky has put out a series of receivers that match some some major brand transmitters, and Hobby King sells them under the Orange label as well as other distributors under the FRsky brand. Same end product but with a different case.
There are some other TX modules and matching RX's on the market, but for the most part, you have to match brand for brand and even within a brand, there are modules and Rx's that will or not work with the others.
Do your research on the receiver and the transmitter you want to use, and make sure they are compatible.
