The real problem - is that a good 2.4 setup using telemetry can be made to launch,direct a craft over several miles .
The intended use of 2.4 for models is for unaided visual control
Personally I see telemetry controlled stuff as NON COMPLIANT- and it is just asking some nit wit congressman to pass a law ruining a good thing for the rest of us.
I don't believe Telemetry controls aircraft. It is a GPS. Telemetry just reports back Rx voltage, engine RPM, fuel level, engine temp, etc..
