Default RE: Prop Suggestion for OS .46 AX on an Extra 300S

Looks like the North Field?? Your in the ball park so I won't get into prop sizes, testing is the only way to discover what you like. Last week I was at Nice Twice and there were a couple of 12X4s on the wall or table. Could have been Hobby Town? I was going through props at both stores but looking at bigger props. I no longer use the smaller engines but when a student is looking to buy one I now show them the OS .55AX. It's a lot more bang for the buck. You can borrow a tank of the higher nitro to try, you can pick up a couple hundred RPM but I don't bother with it. After a couple of tanks of fuel you should be leaning the engine a little as it breaks in, you will notice the engine running a bit different from flight to flight so it's telling you something. In our weather conditions it doesn't take long for an engine to break in.
