...... according to the late, great Jim Kirkland, and who am I to disagree, any throw greater than 35 degrees each way turns the rudder into an airbrake. If it is not effective enough with this amount of throw then add more rudder area.

That's all probably true, but I'm looking for a strong rudder effect when I need it for the Stall Turn in particular. With today's modern proportional transmitters, Dual Rates and Expo...you can get whatever you want...whenever you want...but only if you have enough throw in the first place. I would not normally kick in full rudder while flying at speed.
I'm no expert, but I'm learning every day.
