What i observed was that two pilots from team Switzerland and btw high placed 27th and 17th who used to fly E-Power they made the switch to Glow and both were flying Axiome+`s with YS.
Actually it would be interesting indeed to know why they opted to go back to Glow power?.
It looks from the videos that the YS 175 CDI is monster..!! and runs very smoothly and allows you to spin up to 21` props and inturn you can fly very very slow and i mean E-power SLOW..!!,heck i can`t wait for it to be available for purchase

Wellperhaps its has to do with the fact that with a YSCDi you are burning off the fuel reducing the weight and improving flight performance through the schedule.
With E-power you have the batteries there all the time, weight is a constant but the fuel flow is regrading hence reducing flight performance through the schedule.
Im sure the planes are spec'd to account for that so I'm just throwing that out there
