RE: why slow on the uptake traxxas?
The crawler bubble has already burst. There's no need for Traxxas to flood the an already flooded market with a sea of similar vehicles. Plus they can't readily take one of their existing platforms and add a new suspension to make it work.
The Summit is the closest thing they've got to a crawler, and I don't see that changing.
