My son has a Losi XXX NT truck. It's 4-5 years old (the truck, not my son). He broke off the antenna wire right were it folds over coming out of the top of the antenna tube. He has no idea where the wire that broke off is, somewhere out in the yard.
Can someone tell me the best way to fix this?
I would think that I can solder on a new length of wire, but I need to know what type, and how long should it be.

FWIW- I am into planes, so I know just enough about this to get myself in trouble
. If I had to, I have some old receivers for some of my planes that I will never use, so I could cut off the antenna wire from one of them.
