Default RE: A little help in this area please.

This is an aerobat... landing requires flying it all the way to the ground... if the elevator is too sensitive... maybe it could use some expo to soften it up a bit. I would wonder if the rates are even set on it.. or maybe they're still set too high... What you experienced was a stall obviously.. flying to slow will induce one of these. The key is to keep the power to it, while flying it right down to the runway.. a few inches from touchdown is when you go to idle... other then that you're maybe 1/4throttlle... the plane should be stable enough though... once the elevator issue is worked out.

Most of these aerobats are capable of doing touch-n-go's at half-throttle.. they are that stable... but when it comes to landing them its a common problem for those with less experience to want to glide them in, rather then fly them in... it might take a few times of gluing the gear back on to really grasp this concept.. but just keep it flying until the front wheels touch down.. if that's too "hot" for your friend.. well.. maybe a different type of plane is in order until he gets used to it.. I am reading this is a 1.20size plane... which is a bit bigger/heavier... not big enough to be giant... but it does still carry some weight..which will make landing a bit more tricky..in that it will tend to seem fast..and probably is faster then say a .40size plane of similar type.

Good luck..
