Snag with photbucket and other external storage sites is the pictures seem to disappear after time.
Then when you do a search 3 or 4 years later for a topic you are interested in, you find all the pictures missing!! very frustrating.
There is quite a few old threads on RCU like this because people hosting the pictures elsewhere.

They used to deactivate your account if you did not login every 6 months. They don't do that now.
