A different canopy will give ya 10 mph. you might try a 11x14 APC cut pown to a 8.5-8.75"
Canopy has to stay, the rules for the warbird racing state that it has to be a replica of WW2 fighter. I'm stretching that as it is, a new canopy will most likely get the airplane dis qualified. It's running much better with a Mac's pipe in it now. Best prop at this point is an APC 10X10 cut down to 9.5". After 6 race heats last weekend I tore her down and saw evidence that I'm still running too short of a pipe. Now that the season is over I have time to bench run some mods and start with a long header and work my way in. May bump up the nitro to 25% too. It's fast but the YS 110 ans 115s still have me beat by about a full second per lap.
