RE: Hitec digital servo- stripped gears
I have had good luck with replacing gears myself. Sometimes the case top also needs to be replaced. It's a pretty straightforward repair. You'll just need a small screwdriver to take out the four corner screws. After you take the top off, look inside the top. I think the 7955 has a small brass bushing to support the top end of one or two of the pins. Make sure you don't lose that. The new gears will only go back in one way, so there's no danger of not being able to figure it out. I pull a small amount of lithium grease on the new gears.
