There is another factor you should consider - speed of throttle response.
No question a slow-spooling engine can certainly lead to some sphincter-tightening moments. [X(] You can send out for a pizza in the time it takes my P-70 to spool up from idle.
I don't know what the difference is in spool-up time between the Rhino and the -160, but if it's not excessive, then as Andy pointed out less fuel consumption and less weight for the same thrust, might be the deciding factors for me.
