I don't know if you have heard the rumors but SUPPOSEDLY a 1/3 Albatross is in the works at BALSA USA ... and me with absolutely no where to put the planes I have now !
I do think a 1/3 DVIII would be a logical project, big..yet not so much rigging to deal with. I think that plane would be an easier one to blow up the plans of a 1/4 scale kit.
As to the large DR1, i read on a thread somewhere that One of the big 3D people (forgot the name dangit) is going to put out a 63% arf? Top wing 6 feet off the ground? is that insane or what ?
I doubt I will ever build a full scale, though I do have friends that have, and are doing so right now...mainly RVs. If however they were doing a WW1 replica or semi scale, it would be hard not to hang out at the shop quite a bit !
