I guess they would not fly as well as a built up plane with all that plastic and all that foam adds up to weight compared to a few sticks of balsa. I`d bet the plastic nose of mine comes close to outweighing your whole fuse without the engine of course.
the spackle idea is a good one, but I`mnot sure whick will weigh more, monokote or spackle, I would think the spackle?
