Hi, im new on here but not to this hobby. Ive always had rc cars since a young boy, mainly tamiya electric. Later I owned a few traxxas nitro buggys an trucks an lastest was a team losi 8 buggy. Fed up of small cars with tempermental engines an over the top prices for designes I could always find problems with, I decided to look into making my own. After a lot of research, ive decided on a 1/4 scale rock crawler/off roader combo. 50cc 2stroke motor, 4 wheel drive, hydraulic disc brakes at each wheel, single speed forward only (to start with) and all topped off with a kids ride on toy (jeep) as the shell. Ive got a pair of bevel gears, engine, 4 ride on lawn mower wheels an the jeep shell. Working on the diffs to start with and will then work on the frame, bit backwards but I can see benifits to this. Ill upload pics of the parts as I make them.
