Tower used to sell ''1/4 scale servos'', heck I ripped the output gear right out of the top of one of them with aileron flutter on a giant telemaster. Yes, they were physically bigger than standard size servos. Truth is there's probably mini's today with titanium gears and more torque
I guess it's safe to say we're not old until we start flatulating dust. I know if it was me I'd start looking into those all day RC airplane retirement villages when that starts to happen!
Yes, it's amazing how technology has improved for our hobby, just in a few years. I haven't made up my mind yet to say it was all for the good yet.
