Tee Bee, I ended up doing it just the opposite. I pinned the front of the ribs down over the plan and then put some medium ca on the back, carefully gluing the sheeting down on the back 1/4 inch only. Then I pinned that edge down, pulled the pins from the front, used medium ca on the rest of the rib lengths, and pressed the skin down. Worked well.
