Ok Here is an update....am getting worried now.  Plugged the DMD back into the AR6100 and it is also non responsive lights up and flashes when you hit set but no response from motors turret recoil etc. same as the Futaba bad DMD?? Transmitter...etc...Oh I spoke to some moron at Tamiya USA,  they advised that if I sent the DMD unit to them they would repair/replace if faulty. Sigh
