Bummer of a situation. I use PolyC alot to fill the weave in the fabric on my planes and also as a clear coat but I am running gas. I have not had any issues. I am not sure of what solvent to use that would not harm the fabric finish below. I would venture to say you will have to recover the plane as bad as you hate to hear it.
