Yes, it will buddy box just fine, all you need to get is the correct cord to do so. I have never put two DX5e boxes together, but there should not be the first issue.

Goose Bay, NL, it has been too many years since I've been there! I used to fly into the base to refuel on my way to Iceland when I was an USAF pilot. Beautiful country! I'm sure you might be asking about skis for the next winter season sometime soon!
