I like to use the Higley prop nuts when not using a spinner. It's a little cleaner look and will take a starter if need be. Notice the white spacer next to the thrust washer. This engine also needs a spacer so the first nut does not bottom out on the threads. The white you see is an old spinner back plate sanded down to size.
