Bill, if you are happy with everything then it is a good deal.
Back to the LA .40. I was thrilled when I discovered it was discontinued. They are very under powered even compared to the LA .46. I used a lot of the LA .46 engines in my fun fly planes and really like them. I use trainers that are given to me to instruct with, almost every one of them has a LA .40 in them. Complete dogs that can just get a 40 trainer off the ground. While I still had a few of the LA .46 engines under the bench I would replace the 40s with the 46. I'm out of the .46s but I think I have a couple of the 40s still? There are much better engines on the market these days.
