Default Travel Cases for race planes

Because there is no 424/426/422 racing in Texas, I have been considering trying to find a way to fly to distant contests. The driving times are just too long, and besides, it's actually cheaper to fly than drive most distances. To do so, a secure case is needed to keep the models safe and unbroken during air shipment. I read that Randy Smith used a golf bag case for his 422's.

I searched for "Amplifier Cases" and found this website. Apparently they will make a custom size case for $99. It is made of 1/4" ply, covered in vinyl, with metal edges, latches, and lined with carpet. I suspect that something like this would do just fine for a couple of Q-500 airplane or any other model for that matter. Has anyone ever done business with these guys before?
