The fact is it does not take any more effort to do it right than it does to do it wrong. It just takes some testing to prove otherwise. The current wing mount stresses the wing and with a heavy hand tears it apart. Add some flight stress and wammo there you have separation!
The wing mount mod is great and simple and very easy to incorporate into production. Simply making an update to the bulkhead and wing mount design for the production ARF will translate directly into the Kit as well. Both benefit and both are that much better for it. I'll be doing the same type of mod to mine next.
