For special markets like that, it's insane sometimes what folks will pay. I sold two Futaba 8ASSP single stick transmitters for close to 2K not long back, but they we're almost like NIB. For the average guy, a LEO plane of close to the same size you can get for a little over $200, is a no brainer, most newbies wouldn't know what to do with a box of wood, JMO.
