or another option get a needle heat it up and jam it through the end of the part so it has something to try and stabilize it when doing the above.
I've done boot leg fiber glass with epoxy and toilet paper also and it held pretty decent on a stand that the arm snapped in half like 3 years ago, and its still holding till today
