I was sitting in the shop today looking at the rear tank set-up. As you know, the tank sit below the carb center line. One of my club member came over to see this arf, because he is thinking very hard to buy one!! ( I know he will!!!! ) We talk about the rear tank and his point was turn the tank around and don't worry that the tank is below the carb center line, because the fuel is force feed to the engine by pressure from the muffler. So not to start a fight with a good friend, I thank him for his in-put and I came up with what you see in the pictures. The tank now sit just about 1/16" below the carb center. The down size is the tank is in the open and it can be seen, but, I can build a box to cover the tank!!! Only thing I don't want to do is to add more weight!! See what you think!!!
