Default Formula I at 1970 Nats

Glenview NAS:
This is the start of the fly-off for first place in Formula I at the 1970 Nats. It still stands out as a magical moment for me, especially seeing the smiles on everyone's faces. Bob Smith is about to start his laminar wing Minnow, with Jeff Bertken holding. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of the SOB's (Sons of Brooklyn, may be Harold Goldstein[img][/img]) that he was racing. but I'm sure they still remember this race well, which was very close. This was Bob's first National Championship. That is Larry Leonard in the green shirt on the right.
