Thanks.. So basically,
1.) It's better to run two smaller packs than one bigger pack, in case one goes bad. 2x 3s for 6s, etc.. (and 5s?)
2.) A 10a charger is better than a 5a charger, because you can charge two packs simultaneously, saving time.
1. Performance wise they are the same (2 small packs vs 1 large one). You do get that advantage (only thow one pack away if a cell dies) and also if you have 1/10 vehicles as well which ise 2s packs, you can share the batteries.
2.) A 10a charger can charge twice as fast as a 5a one.
If you had 1 pack charging at 5a that will be done in an hour, than 2 packs together charging at 10a will also be done in an hour. Its kind of like having two 5a chargers in one.
I am assuming you have read on lipo safety? It will be well worth your time if you learn some of the basic stuff so you don't get yourself in a pickle
