ORIGINAL: HerrSavage

Will do, when the weather finally cooperates.. Still negotiating with the wife about when I can open it(%50 of it is my X-mas present)

Think I'll open it on the weekend, threadlock stuff, try to get my head around charging, setting whatever on the ESC, then hopefully run it on X-mas.. What exactly is the process for starters? What's the first thing to do with the lipos? I'm kind of scared of them ha ha.. I've been reading so much about volts, cutoff whatever, programming boards(what is that? Should I buy one?), etc.., I'm not sure where to start.

Also need to buy some lipo safety bags and maybe a big metal box this weekend..

Thanks for all your help btw.
Well when I get them I put them on the charger to make sure they are at around storage voltage. Then I just balance charge them then use them. I only balance charge but many people only balance charge every 5 runs or so. I think it better to balance every time that you can. Try not to leave a lipo fully charged for too long. I aim to use a fully charged lipo with in 24 hours but I have had left a lipo fully charge for a week on some occasions and nothing bad happened.

I've haven't heard of a programming board before, sounds like something that you will use to update software. Did you mean balance board? I believe that charger your getting has a balance board, which allows you to plug in those balance connectors so you can balance charge.
