Default RE: Esc for spektrum Sr201 dsm receiver

ORIGINAL: SCROOGE187 Hi, i just bought the spektrum Dx2E transmitter which comes together with sr201 receiver.
I need to put in my tamiya plasma edge but i noticed that the current tamiya TEU104 BK esc which says only Compatible with BEC receiver.
I wonder which esc is compatible with sr201 that i could look at that is good and cheap? Do i need to replace the servo as well?
Please check your receiver number "sr201" as that is not known on either the Spektrum not Horizon Hobby sites
so unable to confirm it's acceptable voltage range.
However, no need to change receiver as what Tamiya advise is that cheap ESC does not include a BEC.
BEC reduces power pack voltage to avoid burnout of the receiver and steering servo.
As in last lines of spec sheet, a separate UBEC may be used.
Note: That ESC is limited to 6.6-7.2v ( 5 or 6 cell NiMH / NiCD battery) only.
TEU-104BK Spec sheet attached.
