Default RE: CMP Zero 80

ORIGINAL: Gonzalo38

I just purchased a CMP Zero 80" 50 cc model. The engine is a DL 50 with a Pitts style muffler

I have several questions and I would appreciate your help.

- Retracts: I want to replace the fixed landing gear with some retracts. Anybody knows which retracts would fit this plane ?

- Servos: I want to use Futaba servos. Any suggestions on which servos to choose ? Recommend torque ?

- Cockpit: Have anybody seen a company doing a cockpit that would fit this model ?

I wonder if this Sierra retracts would fit

They are supposed to have 85 degrees for scale angles.

It looks like http://www.shindinmachine.com could have a set also (that would require some minor wing modification)

Robart has a 90º one... http://www.robart.com/retracts/drawings/153.pdf

Century Jet has a retract system that is supposed to fit perfectly http://www.centuryjet.com/webstore/m...roduct_ID=1178
Centruy Jet makes drop in retracts. I use them on this plane and they are great.
