RE: 2 Stroke Radial made in the 1980's
OK I found the information sheet and it seems the Berger was a seven cylinder engine and it was a two stroke. I have been struggling to figure out how to scan the sheet so I could post it but no Joy.
Here are the listed specs:
Displacement 1.96 CI
Propellor 18X8
RPM 1500 to 8000
Fuel 15% nitro, 20% oil
Weight 58 ounces with muffler
Cylinders AAC Schneurle ported
Ignition Glow
The sheet shows pictures of the engine on the Goldberg Sukhoi and the states the price at 1199 bucks.
It started easily at the demos and sounded wonderful and I really do regrete having not made an order that day.
