Default RE: esc compatability

well to be honest I could sell you a TK20 board and you could drop all that. I do believe the JR11 is a ppm modulation so you could even use your existing radio and reciever. The TK20 will run both motors, give you all the sounds you want and actions needed for the turret/gun etc.
I am thinking you don't want to re-invent the wheel when really your only 66 bucks and shipping away from running your tank.

The best radio for your application would be the Turnigy 9X or barring that a Spectrum DX6 will work wonders along with some orange recievers. Of course that is with the Clark board but you can listen to others as we all have our own opinions. This is my Clark TK22 which has moimentum and servo elevation, two things that are nice to have but nowhere near mandatory

ok gents,

ive got a vintage tamiya king tiger. Im a jet guy and Im using my JR11x and a 921x ( flight ) rx in the tank, to get all the channels i need. I wanted to change the mechanical SC to an ESC to smooth the drive train. The traxxas esc I have doesnt seem to be compatible with my radio, it works fine in my ground 2ch radio.

so what esc can i use or what radio would be better for the application?

this is prob a stupid question, but I havent fooled with tanks much and havent raced cars in years.
thanks in advance for some know how.
