Mike's on the right, and in the trunk of the old Triumph Herald, barely noticeable is my Dad's old Flightbox...
which started life as his TRANSMITTER case.... had a nine foot whip antenna and ONE button... hit the button once and you'd get rudder full deflection LEFT.
hit it again, you's get full deflection RIGHT .. one more push would center the rudder.
I was a teeny bit too young to have flown with that setup, but I know Mike had a couple hours on it.
