High jsn. Yup its a simple question on the first part but a bit more difficult one concerning the resale question.

What you have is the still current OS .46LA-s and yes it is a controlline engine. Its a pretty popular engine for that use and yes you can remove the controlline venturi and replace it with the standard carb. The problem might be the price which may make it impractical to convert unless you can find a used one somewhere.

If you are going to sell it then might be best to advertise it as is. The best thing and the one that may be a big suprise is for you to find yourself a and old 35 to 46 sized profile ship and go for it. It is a form of flying and feel of your aircraft that no RC pilot can ever experiance and relitively cheap too!

In my December years here in my wheelchair I still fly a bit of controlline and would never give it up completely. When I croak I will be buried with both my trusty Easyjust handle in one hand and my 6 channel Orbit now flying agine on 2.4 in the other hand
