I had some titanium turnbuckles hanging around so I decided to use them. A 3" turnbuckle is the same length as the threaded rod supplied. They are both the same diameter but are different threads.
The servo is mounted with the supplied screws and the wire brought back through the hole.
The ball link on the elevator control horn is 2" from the hinge center line. I only had 1.5" servo arms. I'll be changing to 1" arms since the maximum throw I'm going to need is no more than 25 degrees. I'll have LOTS of mechanical advantage and 500 ounces of torque from the servo!!
